Company Summary

Saskatchewan is the Potash Capital of the World

Several First Nations Peoples in the province have chosen to work with Encanto Potash Corp. (EPO: TSX-V) to assist them in developing potash resources on their lands.

These properties are located in the heart of the potash producing capital of the world, and represent a great opportunity to create sustainable wealth for the local community, and for shareholders.

Potash is a high margin product, and has no commercial substitute.  Potash prices have risen 500% in the last few years, and remain steady.  Encanto and First Nations are working together to rapidly explore for and develop an economic potash deposit.

It’s a win-win relationship where resource development is being done with appreciation of First Nations distinct governance, culture and values, and consideration of investors and key stakeholders.  Everyone’s interests are aligned in creating prosperity and social benefits that will last for many years.

Potash is a key source of potassium, which is a natural component of fertilizer that increases crop yields.

The world’s population is growing by 75 million people per year. The only known way to feed this growing population is to increase crop yields with fertilizer – and potassium obtained from potash is one of the key components.

With the increased world population, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimates that the total world demand for agricultural products will be 60 percent higher in 2030 than it is today. FAO projects that more than 85 percent of this additional demand will come from developing countries.*
