Sedex Mining Corp. (SDN: TSX-V) is pleased to announce, subject to regulatory approval, the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Mine Centre Property, located in Bad Vermillion Lake, Bliss Lake and Little Turtle Lake Townships, Kenora Mining Division, Ontario approximately 66 kilometres east of Fort Frances, Ontario. There is also a 2% net smelter return payable, half of which may be purchased for $1,000,000.
The Mine Centre Property consists of 11 claims totaling 83 units and is accessed by paved roads. Host rocks are an intercalated sequence of mafic and felsic metavolcanic rocks and mafic clastic units. The property is a copper, zinc prospect similar to the companies Windbay project located on strike about 11 kilometres to the southwest.
Geotech has been contracted to fly the latest state-of-the-art VTEM B-field airborne system over the Mine Centre and Windbay Properties this Fall. Survey results will be used to target potential massive sulphide copper-zinc mineralization for drilling and trenching.
